Easiest Way To Open A Tight Jar

My grandmother taught me this trick and it has always worked. Unless you really really pound the jar it won't break anything. At least I have never once had that happen. Just a firm tap is all it needs. You can also turn the jar upside down and hit it flat onto a flat counter top but I don't recommend that for all surfaces.
